Valérie Bah is a Black queer artist from the Haitian and Beninese diaspora who uses film, photography, and text to tell stories about intergenerational trauma, healing, joy, and mundane/radical acts of survival. Her work is driven by Black feminist thought, speculative fiction, and lived experience.

Her documentary photography, short films, and writing have appeared on various platforms, including Al Jazeera, This is Africa, the International Queer and Migrant Festival, Massimadi Bruxelles and Montreal, and Chouftouhonna Festival in Tunis.
