My feelings are as much affected by the Black Death of 1919 as when flight MH370 was lost beyond all reasonable doubt. To elaborate, if there was one facet of history that was different - for example, if Rome were, contrary to popular belief, built in a day - I very well might prefer hot dogs to hamburgers. in this way, I cite the way things were as the driving force behind my art.
